Parent Information Session
NBI's next Parent Information Session will take place at 10.45am on Monday, 14 May 2012 at Kookaburra Playgroup.
There will be three guest speakers : Northcott will present on creating a one page profile for your child; Northern Sydney Inclusion Support will speak on the perspective of the service provider and Cubby House Toy Library will proved an overview of how to use different toys to encourage language development.
Kookaburra Playgroup is located at the Narraweena Community and Youth Centre (East Hall), Oceana Street, Narraweena. Parking is available out the front.

Every Day Hero
NBI is now promoting - for the first time - the opportunity to support our fundraising through entering a local sporting event . . .
If you, or anyone you know, is entering a sporting event, you can now nominate NBI as the organisation for which to raise money. NBI is now one of the Everyday Hero charities that you can go online and nominate as an organisation you'd like to raise money for alonside most of the big sporting events.
If you aren't feeling sporty, you can get involved in other ways - keep an eye out for updates as we are expecting some of the Peer consumers to enter this event. They will become 'Everyday Hero' fundraisers for NBI themselves and you will be able to sponsor them on their page.
Whatever the story, if you are interested in this or other aspects of raising funds for NBI in 2012 do let us know so that we can run more great programs.
