Saturday January 09 Sydney Festival First Night
Tonight Peer are heading into the city to enjoy the fabulous, fantastic and fun entertainment of the Festival First Night. Streets, laneways and parks are given over to a day and night of music, dance and celebration. We will head to Hyde Park to start things off and fill the evening with fun and frivolity for all at the festival to end all festivals!!!

Friday January 15 Starlight Cinema presents Up
Peer Support is heading to the movies, but this cinema has no roof, or walls for that matter. We are heading to an outdoor cinema to see one of Disney Pixar's latest movies, Up. Up is a comedy adventure about 78 year-old balloon salesman Carl Fredricksen, who finally fulfils his lifelong dream of a great adventure when he ties thousands of balloons to his house and flies away to the wilds of South America. But he discovers all too late that his biggest nightmare has stowed away on the trip: an overly optimistic 8-year-old Wilderness Explorer named Russell. So let's join them on their adventure across the skies while relaxing on a picnic rug under the North Sydney stars.

Saturday January 16 Akuna Bay Tinnies
Today we will be heading down to the scenic Akuna Bay where will be hiring some boats. We spend the day cruising around the many bays and inlets; playing games, relaxing and maybe even a spot of fishing! We will find a beautiful beach to have a picnic, eat our lunch and have some fun in the sun. We will also have plenty of time for a swim if you're that way inclined. What a way to spend a lazy Saturday! A relaxing activity for one and all. This has been such a hit in the past we thought we would go twice this weekend!

Thursday January 21 No Activity - Stafff Development Day
We are not running an activity tonight as it is a night when all the Peer Support staff get together for a evening of brainstorming and team work. This is a night for improving the Peer Support programme in any way we can. We will not be running an activity this evening but we'll see you on the weekend:)
Sunday January 24 Manly Waterworks
Hold onto your hats guys because today we are going to hit the water slides in a big way at the Manly Waterworks.There are 3 waterslides for us to enjoy ranging from the 'chilled out easy slide' to the 'yeeeeha slide'. After an exciting morning we will be relaxing with a leisurely picnic and chill out session at Little Manly beach with lunch and the option of a quick swim for those who haven't yet had their fill of water activities. While this activity is for those who love a bit of excitement and adventure in the water, for those of you who don't want to get wet there are plenty of opportunities to cheer your mates on. So join us for some daring water fun!

Thursday January 28 Absolutely Great Pizza
Tonight we are getting together to enjoy good conversation and fun with our friends over some pizza at our favourite pizzeria in Collaroy. Yes that's right Peer Supporters - good food, good company and the opportunity to take a stroll afterwards and work off a few calories.

Sunday January 31 Gymnastics for All
Today we are heading out for a day of accessible-for-all gym activities. We will do floor work, balls, trampoline and swings. It is specifically tailored to people of our ability level and will be a day of discovering our abilities and talents. So get set for a fantastic day of fun topped off with a relaxed lunch on the grass in the beautiful Sydney Olympic Park.

Thursday February 04 Beach Volleyball @ Manly
Tonight the club members will be heading down to Manly Beach to play some volleyball by twilight. There will be an opportunity for a cool down swim for those who would like. Don’t feel like playing volleyball? Still come along and enjoy a casual stroll up and down the beachfront, or cheer on your friends at the sideline!

Saturday February 06 Treasure Hunt
Buried treasure awaits! All aboard HMAS Peer (actually the bus but it will look a little like a ship on the day). Today Peer are going on a scavenger hunt with a difference. We'll be heading out to the first leafy location to play some games and gather some clues. From here we will head onto a scenic spot to enjoy some morning tea and sunshine and find yet another clue. Then after a few more clues and games we will find ourselves in our lovely final destination, to play in the sun and have a picnic lunch. So come along as we hoist the flag, set sail and follow the clues we find along the way to locate the treasure chest!

Thursday February 11 Confirmation Night
Tonight is the night that all the peer support team members get together for some serious number crunching. After a great struggle we will hopefully have squeezed everyone into the jigsaw puzzle that the choice sheets become. We will be calling you tonight to confirm your activities for the coming program. Sunday February 14 Chocolate Tour - Valentine's Day Special
Schokolade...cioccolato...czekolada...chocolat. Whether it's in German, Italian, Polish or French it still sounds good to us! That's right, Peer are going on a Valentine's Day inspired Chocolate Tour. First on the menu, a visit to the famous Lindt Café in the city, then I'm sure we can fit in a little trip to Max Brenner (even if it's only to take in the smells!). To top off our lovely day we'll head to Hyde Park for our very own brand of High Tea and a celebration of all things Friendship to get into the spirit of the day.
