Ahoy there Peer Supporters. Today we will be hitting the high seas (well almost) and catching the ferry over to the picturesque Patonga Beach for a day of fun in the sun! Once there we will go for a short stroll to a lovely area where we will be relaxing by the beach and having a BBQ. The afternoon can be whiled away with the option of going for a quick dip, playing a round of beach cricket or volleyball…or whatever takes your fancy. See you there!

Tonight we are going to go for a walk along one of Sydney's most iconic structures ever built, the Harbour Bridge! We will get to watch the sun set over Sydney and see the city as it transforms from day to night.  It is such a breathtaking sight to look out over the city and harbour with all its twinkling lights. Here are some bridge facts for you to chew over in the meantime: at its highest point the arch is 134 metres above sea level; 'the bridge' is 1150 metres or about a mile long; Andrew was member of the original bridge building team; there are 58,000 tonnes of steel in the bridge but the bridge still weighs less than the Sydney Opera House.

Tonight we will head down to parramatta speadway to see the steel and sparks fly as we witness the pure spectacle of watching the very best demolition derby drivers attempt to survive the Destruction Derby!!!. Pure adrenaline and diesel fumes at their best, its time to set yourself up with a couple of dagwood dogs and embrace the drama of the DESTRUCTION DERBY!!!.

Come join us as we go exploring the Surry Hill Fest. Discover unique treasures at stalls reminiscent of a Middle Eastern bazaar. Visit the Artisans quarter featuring hand-made crafts and artwork. Indulge in freshly prepared local gourmet fare at the food stalls. Then get ready to rock out as the live entertainment stages pump out rock, jazz, acoustic and world music throughout the day. Keep your eyes open for roving entertainers, street theatre... and make sure you're on the green for the famous Surry Hills Dog Show-Off! Rrrufff!

Hello Peer Team! Today we will be heading into the Blue Mountains for a relaxing day of fruit picking. We will be getting back to nature and visiting a small family owned orchid in Bilpin. We will be able to pick some of our fruity favourites including pears and apples, but only after receiving some expert instruction on how to pick the best fruit. We will also be able to speak with the owner and discover all about the ins and outs of running an orchird and growning fruit. We will finish off the day with a picnic lunch and a sample of our hand-picked fruits.

Tonight the Peer Crew are turning Mexican. We will be donning our sombrero's and preparing a sumptuous feast of traditional  Mexican foods and sitting down together to share our banquet.  After the food is settled we will be playing some traditional Mexican games. There will also be Mexican dancing and a pinata. So grab you Sombrero and head on down to The Club with No Name for a night of Mexican culture.  Andalay, Andalay!

I was sitting in the office when Andrew reminded me that his favourite band was back in town. Yes, that's right Peer are heading to see the Abbalanche Tribute show tonight at Asquith Leagues Club. We will be stopping off along the way for a bit of a picnic supper then heading on to the club for the show. So come on all you Dancing Queens and Fernando's, get your singing voices ready and your dancing shoes on, tonight we party Abba style!
