Sunday September 11      Festival of the Winds

Feel the breeze in your hair and warm sun on your back. Spring has arrived - and gee didn't it take it's time gettting here! Today we are going to journey to Bondi beach for the Festival of the Winds! The BIGGEST annual kite flying festival in Austalia!! We can check out the amazing kite displays from around the globe and it’s not just the experts who can fly their kites, why not bring your own!  If you don’t have a kite you can buy one from one of the stalls in the park, or better still,  we can make our own at one of the kite making workshops. We will enjoy a leisurely picnic on the sand and soak up the warm sunshine. So bring a kite and prepare to meet new friends.

Thursday September 15      Peer Food Safari: First Stop

We all know how much the Peer crew love a good meal with friends, so we have decided that we should embark upon a food safari! This week Peer will be putting on their sombreros and turning Mexican! We will jump on the bus and head across the border into Manly where we will enjoy a delicious Mexican feast. Chosing from nachos or burritos, taccos or enchiladas. . . All the while enjoying being out on the town with great company. What more could we want?

Saturday September 17      Luke's Night Scavenger Hunt

We'll start out in daylight as we get the hang of following cryptic clues. Then with night falling it will be time to light up torches as things get more mysterious. For those of you who have sampled one of Peer's scavenger hunts, imagine how much fun it will be as the light fades and the pressure grows, trying to find the prize at the trail's end!

Saturday September 24      Bush walk and BBQ

It's spring, so time to put a spring in your step or a spin on your wheels as the Peer crew head out into the great outdoors for an adventurous stroll into the unknown. Your reward for bravely venturing out into the untamed wilderness? Another of the Peer team's legendary BBQs!

Saturday October 01      Trike Day Out

Get your motor running Peer support team because today we are headed for an adventure on trikes! After a lovely drive to Gosford we will be relaxing on the Gosford's beautiful waterfront foreshore and having a bite to eat. This is where we will be met by a hotted up trike (a motorbike with 3 wheels). Before long we will be burninig around the normally serene streets of the local area - raaaaahhhh! Of course if trikes are not your thing, you can always relax and cheer on the others as they whiz past us!

Sunday October 09      Ferry Trip: Bobbin Head Boat Trip

Ahoy there Peer crew! Today we are being treated to a ride on a special old Ferry through scenic Mooney Mooney Creek, departing from Bobbin Head. We will have a chance to relax in the beautiful National Park enjoying a relaxing lunch and some games with our fellow Peer friends. (If it's a warm day a quick dip might be possible). Unfortunately at this stage wheelchair access is limited (though possible), please contact us for more information.

Thursday October 13      Peer Food Safari: Second Stop

Thai-ered of eating the same old thing? The next stop on Peer's round the world restaurant tour is Thailand (or the next best thing, "Thai and I" restaurant in Dee Why). Come out with your friends on Peer as we Thai one on!

Saturday October 15      Planes, Trains and Automobiles

How many modes of transport can you name? Train, ferry, bus, jet pack, monorail, shank's pony, the list goes on! Today Peer will be seeing  how many of these different modes of transport we can experience in just one day! We will sail across the harbour in a ferry, jet across the city in a train, and maybe even squeeze in an exciting monorail trip! Today will be all about the journey and the exciting things we might see whizzing past along the way.

Sunday October 16      Row Boat Regatta

Row Row Row your boat, Wildly round in circles. That's right guys that is what the Peer crew will be up to today. We are heading out to the Boatshed in the picturesque Lane Cove national Park to hire some large old style wooden row boats. We will be joy riding up and down the river in these lovely vessels until we spot a good place for a picnic. We will then head ashore for a leisurely lunch before jumping back in the boats and heading home. All aboard!
