Group Programs
Our Group Programs offer a wide range of fun, challenging and age-appropriate activities in a safe, supportive environment.
A small fee is chargeable for each activity attended to contribute to the running costs of our programs.
Saturday Program
Saturday Program provides group based, recreational activities for children aged 6-17 years with moderate to high support needs living in the local government areas of Manly, Warringah and Pittwater.
Each Saturday, children participate in either centre-based activities or community outings supported by trained staff and volunteers. If your are interested in the latest activities go look at our blog: Saturday Programme Activities
Peer Support Program
Group recreational activities for young people aged 18-24 years with moderate to high support needs living in the local government areas of Manly, Warringah and Pittwater.
Community outings are held one day of each weekend and centre-based activities are held each Thursday evening. Support on all activities is provided by trained staff and volunteers. TAG Holiday Program
This program provides holiday recreational activities to young people aged 12-18 years with a disability.
The program runs Monday to Friday 9 weeks a year and offers a range of centre-based activities or community outings. Support is provided by trained staff.
Seagulls Holiday Program
Seagulls is for children aged 6-12 years with moderate to high support needs. Children who access this program must also access the Saturday Program.
The program runs during some of the school holidays dependent on resourcing.

Host Program
Children aged 0-16 years who have low to moderate support needs receive respite care from registered and trained volunteers in the community known as Hosts.
The child visits his or her Host in the Host’s home and, visiting the same host on a regular basis, the child has the opportunity to enjoy new experiences and share in the life of another family or individual.
Respite Options Program
Children and young adults aged 0-24 years with high support needs are cared for by paid respite workers on a one to one basis.
Families receive flexible respite packages that can be designed to meet their individual needs.
Kookaburra Playgroup
This developmental playgroup provides a structured play environment to children aged 1-6 years with special needs.
Skills development is encouraged with a variety of play and equipment. Run by two qualified staff.
Further Support
Northern Beaches Interchange aims to support families in a number of different ways. Activities such as Family Fun Days, Siblings Days, weekends away and information sessions are organised throughout the year.
